How the team splitter works
Paste every player's name — one per line — in the box on the left. Pick how many teams you want (two to six), hit Split, and the splitter shuffles the whole list with a fair random shuffle, then deals the names round-robin into the teams. If you have an uneven number of players, the first teams get one extra each, so sizes stay as balanced as possible (eleven players across two teams becomes six and five).
Fair, provable, reshuffleable
The shuffle uses Fisher–Yates with the browser cryptographic random generator, so every arrangement is equally likely. If one team ended up looking too strong, hit Reshuffle for a fresh split with the same players and team count. Each team heading is editable — tap on it to rename (Red Team, Dragons, anything you like).

FAQ
How does the team splitter work?
Paste names, pick how many teams you want (2 to 6), hit Split. Players are shuffled randomly, then dealt round-robin into teams so sizes are as balanced as possible.
Are the teams balanced?
Yes. 11 players across 2 teams gives 6 and 5. Randomness only decides who ends up where, not team sizes.
Can I name the teams?
Yes. Click the team heading to rename it (Red Team, Lions, whatever). Names persist through reshuffles.
Why not use the spin wheel instead?
The spin wheel picks one winner at a time — great for a raffle. The team splitter does the whole split in one click. Different tools for different jobs.
