When "I don't know" has lasted 20 minutes

The point of a decision wheel is not to find the best option. It is to end the stall. Put every option on the wheel, promise out loud you will go with the result, hit spin. Nine times out of ten you suddenly feel strongly about one choice before the wheel stops. That reaction is also a result — it tells you what you actually wanted. The wheel's job is to force the moment of choice, not to make the choice for you.

Make it as fair or unfair as you want

Add weights in the Advanced panel to tilt the wheel toward the option you quietly already want. Set weight 3 on "pizza" and weight 1 on everything else, and pizza is three times as likely. The share link remembers both the entries and the weights, so you can reuse "pick a restaurant" or "pick a movie" every weekend without rebuilding the list. You can also assign a custom color per slice if you want a themed wheel.

Classic decision wheel use cases

What to eat for dinner, what movie to watch tonight, where to go on a date, which drink to order, which workout to do today, which language to practice, which book to read next. Also: hard moral quandaries ("should I quit", "should I move") — the wheel is not an oracle for those, but running the test often tells you how you actually feel about each outcome.

FAQ

What if I don't like the result?

Classic trick: notice how disappointed you feel. That tells you what you actually wanted. Then go with the one you wanted. The wheel's job is done.

Can I add images or emoji?

Emoji work in entry labels (🍕 Pizza, 🍣 Sushi). Image slices are on the roadmap.

Can I set custom colors?

Yes, open the Advanced panel in the editor to set a color per entry.
